2007 DR-Z400s Resurrected!

Bush Pig Adventures is all about promoting the off-road hobby and sharing some sweet footage of awesome trails from around Western Canada. It it also about lending a hand to people who may otherwise be S.O.L when it comes to basic repairs and maintenance. Luckily for you, we are absolute amateurs who don't mind getting our hands dirty as an excuse to have a few cold ones.

So our first victim of the year was my 2007 DR-Z400s that had been sitting in storage for almost 5 years. The bike looked pristine from the outside but I knew better, I had parked it wet, dirty, with the fuel on and with a full tank of gas. I knew I was in for some serious trouble but I also knew that spring was upon us and I wasn't going to let one more summer pass by without getting back on the trails.

I can't wait to share the results with you over the next few weeks as there is far too much to talk about in one blog post. So far the bike fired up right away with a little bit of choke and we are in the process of stripping it down so that we can build her back up to factory condition!
